5 things we learned from Lazio game

After a dreadful start to the campaign this season, there were little glimpse of hope of improvement in the last game. But the inevitable mistakes from Milan drops yet another vital 3 points.

A look back into the game made us realise how this team is comprised of inexperienced raw talent. Here are 5 moments from the last game that made us think we can improve.

1- Ismail Bennacer: No doubt about his work rate, quick on his feets, good control. Although his physicality is to be questioned, and is yet another raw talent who gave away the ball cheaply. Even if he makes mistake, he delivers more than what Biglia did so far in the season. If he is supported well with another physical player like Kessie or Krunic it might reduce the work load on him.

2-Theo Hernandez: Two goals and two assists so far in the season, probably the best player so far. With 3 and a half defence of Pioli’s tactics, he completely fits the puzzle. Left back position is safe so far and will be probably untouchable.

3. Rade Krunic: Finally the first start for the ex empoli man, who didn’t disssapoint at all. The positioning of the player was at point and was among the few players who didn’t made mistakes. He looked confident on the ball when going forward and did more than Kessie did.

4. Stefano Pioli: The newly appointed head coach of Milan used a 3 and a half man defence giving Theo Hernandez the full fletched notion to play more up on the wings. Allowing Paqueta the free role upfront created a good amount of chances by drawing other players towards him. Still a lot to be reflected by the manager, suso being benched and the ways of finding a perfect balance in the team is still on the hunt.

5.Hakan Calhanoglu: It is really good to see the Turk has found his feets. He looked a completely different player than what he was last season. The introduction of the new manager gives him more freedom to play upfront and has been performing much better.
