Footy Headlines have released the leaked design of Milan’s kits for the 2019/20 season. This is the second season in Milan’s deal with Puma, and these designs are certainly better than this year’s. These kits make one reminisce about all classics, yet also bring some new ideas to the table.
The Home Kit:
The iconic red and black design is back, and this year’s kit is stunning. It resembles the shirt worn in 2011/12, but looks even better. The thin stripes oppose the designs since 2011, where thicker lines were favoured. Undoubtedly this kit is an improvement from the home shirt this year and the footballing word is in love with it.
The Away Kit:
Another design Puma have knocked out of the park. The away kit this year was an absolute disaster, and has sold horribly. The blurry black line through the middle of the kit was unnecessary, and made the kit look messy and disappointing, and it didn’t sell well at all. This year’s edition is nothing short of sublime, and looks like an instant classic. The two blocks of red and black in the shoulders look great and compliment the simplicity of the shirt well. The choice of a favourite between the home and away kit is a tough decision
The 3rd Kit:
Although it looks suspiciously like the training kit if this year, this kit adds spice to the lineup, and looks great as well. Definitely an improvement on the dull shirt this year, and is certain to sell well.
The lineup this year is nothing short of exquisite, and I’ll be sure to get my hands on 2 of these kits as soon as they’re released as they’ll be instant classics. The simplicity yet audacity has to be recognised and applauded. Well done to Puma for a great lineup.
